What you can expect

As a Summer Intern in Visma, you’ll have the opportunity to work in one of Europe's biggest SaaS companies. You'll use the theory from your studies in real-life projects and expand your network and skills together with great tech enthusiasts. You will be working on your project with one other Summer Intern, and the project will usually involve areas such as software development, business development, and data science. From day one, you’ll be a key  part of your assigned team and will contribute to strategically important activities.

Who we’re looking for

If you’re a student in the third or fourth year of your studies and are ready to gain real-world experience at one of Europe’s largest software companies, we want to meet you! Perhaps you have an undiscovered developer inside you and are motivated by programming and finding new solutions. Or maybe you have ambitions to work strategically with technology and lead future technology projects. You are studying IT, computer science, communication technology, informatics, or industrial economics or economics.

Either way, you should be ready to: 

• Challenge the status quo

• Use critical thinking skills to solve complex problems

• Be a self-starter who also works well in a team

• Demonstrate great written and verbal communication (in both Danish and English)

Internship details

The internship is paid and runs over 8 weeks from the middle of June until the first week of August. You’ll have two weeks off in July for a holiday break.

During your internship, you’ll work on real projects, so the goal is for us to continue your work after the summer is over. You’ll work in international teams and be given a high level of responsibility while being supported by experienced colleagues. We’ll do our best to put you on a project that aligns with your competence and interests.

Application process

The application deadline is March 15th, 2026.

Instead of a traditional cover letter, we want you to answer a couple of questions related to your motivation for the internship. Share your thoughts in a paragraph or two, approximately 100-150 words. You can write in English or Danish.  Don't forget to upload your CV and higher education grade reports; screenshots of grades are okay if official reports aren't available.

We'll review applications on a continuous basis, and we may ask you to complete an ability- and personality assessment as part of your application. If we think you are a great match, you'll be invited for an interview in our Copenhagen office located in Carlsberg Byen. For candidates progressing to the next stage, the final interview will include a case assignment.
