Read more about the program here.
This international program connects you with colleagues from Denmark, Sweden, and the Netherlands. Through a shared introductory week in Oslo and joint gatherings at various locations in Europe during the trainee period, you’ll get to know each other well.
After completing your year as a Management Trainee, you are guaranteed a job at Visma, and we will help you land your dream role. Exploring your opportunities through these five projects is the perfect way to discover your area of interest.
What can your career look like at Visma? We believe in tailoring roles and career paths that fit you! To give you an idea of what that can look like, here are some examples of roles previous trainees hold today; Finance Director, Chief Financial Officer, Business Developer, AI Director, M&A Manager, Product Owner, Chief Commercial Officer, to mention some. Who we’re looking for
Our Management Trainees come from diverse backgrounds, each bringing unique skills and personalities. What binds them together is their curious mindset, proactive approach to innovation, and strong collaboration skills. They are critical thinkers, love to ask questions, thrive on responsibility, and tend to have leadership ambitions. Proficiency in both Norwegian and English communication is crucial.
So if this sounds like you, and you’re finishing up a degree within business, management, finance, technology or IT by August 2026, we’d love to hear from you!

Why choose Visma?
At Visma, we go beyond competitive terms and employee benefits. Here’s what makes us stand out.
We invest in your development. Personal and career growth are priorities here. With support from a personal mentor, former trainees, and a dedicated program leader, you'll build a solid network to rely on for guidance and development.
Experience a variety of responsibilities. One of the biggest advantages of working in Visma? We’re a network of companies, each with their own products and projects. You’ll have the opportunity to experience different responsibilities through different projects, allowing you to discover in which roles you excel.
We’re more than just colleagues. Enjoy a warm, social work culture with social activities for everyone. From cageball and monthly Friday Bars to international gatherings with fellow Management Trainees; we like to connect!
Your ideas drive us forward. We value unique insights and creativity and aren't afraid to take risks - this is how we learn. We trust you to experiment, learn, and grow. All the projects you will lead are strategic and business-critical to Visma, where you will leave your mark and bring us forward.
Plus, enjoy these great perks: excellent pension and personal insurance, including health and travel insurance. Work in modern offices at Skøyen (PS: In 2027 we are moving into even smoother offices at Majorstuen), enjoy a great company cafeteria offering breakfast, hot meals, salad bar, and snacks, as well as a coffee bar with a skilled barista, Waffle Thursdays, cake and buns on Fridays, on-site massage therapy and naprapath services, and access to company apartments in Chamonix and Marbella.

Application process
Applying is really easy!
Instead of a traditional cover letter, we want you to share: your motivation for becoming a Management Trainee at Visma, and an academic or professional accomplishment you're particularly proud of. Share your thoughts in a paragraph or two, approximately 100-150 words. Don't forget to upload your CV and higher education grade reports; screenshots of grades are okay if official reports aren't available.
Once you apply, you'll be invited to complete an online ability- and personality assessment. If we think we are a great match, we'll invite you to a digital interview. For the final interview, we will invite you to visit our HQ in Oslo, which will include a case study.
We'll review applications right after the deadline and make sure to give feedback to everyone. Keep an eye on your spam folder, just in case!
Remember to apply before the deadline on August 3rd, 2025, at midnight.
