Do you thrive in a dynamic, international environment where no two days are the same? And are you the person who can elevate Visma’s brand presence in France? If your answer is yes, then keep reading – this job might just be the opportunity you’ve been looking for.
As our presence in the French market grows, we’re seeking a dynamic and results-driven PR & Communications Manager to join our team.
This position will be part of the Branding and Marketing department of Visma Group, where we strive to build a strong overarching Visma Brand and empower growth in our portfolio of 180+ companies through marketing and brand efforts.
Visma’s cloud business software products help 2.2 million customers in Europe and Latin America. Our unique structure enables us to be close to local markets while sharing world-class competence.
Key responsibilities:
As PR & Communications Manager, you will play a key dual role. You will be at the heart of driving Visma’s overall communications and PR strategy, helping to elevate our brand across channels, while also localising and adapting this strategy for the French market. You will ensure that global initiatives align with local priorities, crafting communications that resonate with French audiences and strengthen Visma’s presence both nationally and internationally.
We’re looking for a strong individual contributor with the potential to take on team leadership responsibilities as opportunities arise.
Your role will be crucial in increasing awareness of Visma in France, leveraging strategic campaigns, and day-to-day communications to boost visibility and establish strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Collaborate in the creation and implementation of Visma’s communication strategy globally and locally for the French market.
Create compelling and engaging content like thought leadership articles, website copy, and social media content tailored to our French audience. In doing so, you will be expected to stay ahead of trends and proactively suggest new tactics or ideas to improve brand presence, and run with these ideas from scoping to execution.
Own and drive the PR agenda in France to build the desired Visma brand, and collaborate closely with Visma’s French companies.
Establish and drive Spokespersons programs and Employee Advocacy on the Visma brand level.
Ensure all Visma Group messaging is accurately translated and culturally adapted for the French market.
Campaign development and management in the French market.
Track media coverage and assess the effectiveness of campaigns. Provide regular reports on KPIs and campaign performance to internal stakeholders.
Organise and manage press events, media briefings, and other Visma event initiatives to promote the brand.
Work closely with your peers and with Visma’s French companies to ensure alignment and consistent branded and commercial messaging.
If crises arise, you will act as the first point of contact for media inquiries and collaborate closely with the Group Communications Director.
Your profile:
Strong commercial understanding and experience in brand building.
You have a minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in communication and PR within the French market.
You are a native French speaker with outstanding written and verbal communication skills. You also possess strong proficiency in English, as it is our corporate language.
Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with teams in various departments.
Ability to manage multiple projects at once without losing sight of the details.
A proactive, collaborative mindset with a readiness to step in wherever needed to support the team in reaching its goals.
Strong writing skills with the ability to create engaging content and tell compelling brand stories.
Experienced with social media platforms and digital communications strategies in the French market.
Experience communicating tech and SaaS to the B2B audience is preferred.
What we offer:
In this role you can help shape Visma's brand and solidify our market position in Europe, especially in France.
You will have an opportunity to collaborate with top talent in a diverse, fast-paced environment.
We embrace autonomy and knowledge-sharing at every level. Combine local market insight with world-class competence.
