Knowledge Manager in the Medium Business segment

About the Medium Business Segment
Our segment is made up by 27 companies across 6 different countries, helping midsized and larger companies to digitalize and automate their business and employee processes with strong international cloud ERP and cloud HRM solutions. Most customers have high organizational complexity, and require seamless integration between its various systems. The segment has around 2,800 employees, serves nearly 100,000 customers and generates close to EUR 500 million in annual revenue. As we continue to expand, both organically and through M&A activities, we are looking for a Knowledge Manager to help us utilize all the competence that lies in our segment and further scale our business.
About the role
As a Knowledge Manager, you play a central role in further developing the Medium Business segment. You will help us improve our value-adding processes, foster a collaborative and engaging culture among our companies, and support our management team in strategic decisions. The role offers an exciting opportunity to get to know our companies, our segment team and get first-hand experience with the unique Visma organism and how the pieces are connected so that each company is more successful as part of Visma than standing on its own two feet. You will gain deep insight into all aspects of our business, combining operational tasks with more strategic work, and be a key contributor to connecting our community and scaling our segment.
Responsibilities
- Board work: Contribute to further developing the way we work with our company boards, including board material and templates, sharing best practices, board meeting calendars, year wheel, etc.
- Strategy process: Coordinate and support the strategy process in the segment, and be responsible for the annual strategy presentation together with the Segment Director.
- Knowledge sharing and collaboration: Boost knowledge sharing, and information flow (incl. organizing business reviews, supporting peer group sessions, and other knowledge-sharing activities) as well as enabling cross-functional collaboration within the Medium Business segment’s business areas, group services, and other segments.
- Analysis: Participate in building the analytical framework of Medium Business segment, and by that give structure to the complexity of the segment. By preparing thorough analyses, including business cases, competitor assessments, and pricing evaluations, supporting decision-making within the segment.
- General support to the Medium Business segment mgmt team: Assist the team in operationalizing the segment strategy and achieving OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) and drive Medium Business segment-specific projects (like events, meetups, masterclasses).
Requirements and personal qualities
To thrive and succeed in this position we believe you should have:
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and facilitation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders in various forums
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate and drive initiatives
- A structured and analytical way of working
- An interest in working highly independently and proactive, and sharing our “no task is too big or too small” mentality
- Strong skills in Google Workspace tools
- Relevant education at Bachelor or Master level, and some years of work experience is a great plus
